Annual Membership

---

We do request that you become a member of our Centre after attending two or three sessions. Membership runs for one year from the date of payment. Becoming a member will bring immediate discounts in attendance fees, grants personal practise insurance for our activities, and will help us improve the facility for all of our users.

To become a member, please fill out the membership form on our membership page, and you can arrange your payment either through PayPal or in person at the Centre.

Parties

---

Private parties may be booked at least three weeks (21 calendar days) in advance. With this notice period, a private party booking may over-ride our regular timetable, so you can discuss with our staff when you want you activity to be scheduled – make it a perfect Friday night out, or on a Saturday morning to really get stuck in! We can cater to special arrangements such as surprise parties, specific activities such as competitions or fun taster sessions, or make even longer (or bigger) bookings with some negotiation.

Members of the Vanguard Centre and the Academy of Historical Arts receive a 10% discount on party bookings.

Archery Packages

Swordfighting Packages

Swordfighting packages cost £25 per person, but please note that there is a minimum fee of £100 even if there are fewer than 5 people attending. A larger swordfighting party (more than 12 people) may be organised to last longer than 1 hour 15 minutes at the management’s discretion.

Private Tuition

We currently have a tiered model for private tuition. Archery Inductions or private range hire are at one price level, and HEMA tuition is another.

Each private session is 1 hour long. Sessions must be booked at least 72 hours (3 business days) in advance.
